Statements on the Privacy of Client Information
First State Agency respects the privacy expectations and the rights of its clients regarding financial information and other related information which the agency has or gathers in the normal course of business.
First State Agency collects, retains, and uses information about individual clients only when we believe it would be useful (and allowed by law) in administering our business and to provide products, services, and other opportunities to clients. This information is obtained from application information, transaction information, and consumer report information.
First State Agency will use a client’s personally identifying information in our normal course of business. Personal information will not be sold or distributed to other parties for marketing purposes.
First State Agency does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients or former clients, except to our affiliates and as otherwise permitted by law.
First State Agency will not disclose nonpublic personal information about former clients after two years from the time they cease to be our clients. For the first two years, however, we may share this information in the same manner and to the same categories of other parties as we do with current clients.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
